I got up at 5 this am, got suited up and outside. And said to myself, "No. Not today." And I didn't!
I had a big plan that I would go to work early and leave early. But only the first half of that happened. Oh well!
Tomorrow is my last day here! We leave Sunday am - we are going to Alpine to pick up a carload and then we'll head up to Long Beach around 9:30 am.
I don't think I'll have connectivity on the ship, but you never know! If I do, you know I'll check in!

Oh, I'll bet they'll have wifi on the ship. But don't worry about it.
I took today off for the same reason. Just didn't feel like it. I'm sitting here thinking, though, that I'm glad it's not a week ago right now! I was running the Red Wing Half in the heat and humidity. That was hard.
At the same time, Angie has a friend with a cabin near Ashland where we can stay so we are going to register for the Whistle Stop Half on October 15th!

That's really exciting about your half! Woe, how fun. And staying at the cabin will be great. I'm jealous!
Days off are good - and doing hard things helps me appreciate the days of unhard things!
It's late and I've got to go to bed. Up early tomorrow so we can leave here around 8:45. Yikes! I'll be ready though!
