Yay me!

I already did my training program today!  I went out before I started work (at 7), so it's nice to start my day feeling accomplished!

I think today's program was exactly the same as the first day's session.  3m walk / 1m run, 6x.  Session 3 is 8 minutes longer, so it will be interesting to see what it consists of.

I did something!

And you already know about it, since I told you yesterday.  But I'm making it official with a post!

I started a couch to 5k program yesterday.  Usually, I don't run for 100 years.  Then I run 3 miles.  Then I am broken and don't run for 100 years.  So I decided to not do that!  Yesterday's program was to walk 3 minutes, run 1 minute.  6 rounds of this.  Felt good.  After that, I walked over to the gym.  Lifted some weights and then walked home.  It was a good exercise day.

Not sure what I'll do today, probably go for a walk.  Then do "the program" day 2 tomorrow.

Oh my....

We are not keeping up here!  I am still walking a mile or more every morning but do want to get back to some running. So we'll see what tomorrow brings.  I didn't do a thing (as you know) on my little vacation so have to get back in the swing.
