Dead Sensor

Yes, you read that right. It wouldn't activate this morning at all. This is still the old sensor which I put back in the other day and it's been working fine. So maybe it really is dead now. I will put the new one in tonight and try to link it. So tomorrow's run will only be 2 miles because I know exactly where the mile marker is and I'll have to calibrate the news sensor.

I did run 3 miles this morning and just kept track of it on my own spreadsheet like I always do. Another gorgeous morning here. Just perfect weather we've been having the last few days. Big thunder and lightning storm last night about 9 pm. 7/10's inch of rain only but it really dropped the humidity so this morning is wonderful. I wish it could be like this all the time. Oh wait, then I'd be living in San Diego!

Ha! Yes! And then you would be like me and not appreciate the perfect weather as much because it is so common. But I do absolutely adore it when it rains! I bet it was so fun to have thunder and lightning. A light show!

Oh, technology. (When you read that, imagine I am gnashing my teeth and shaking my computer above my head!) Sooo frustrating. Don't you think it is weird that ours both died at the same time? I do. Remember when I got the Nike GPS thing? Well, I went to Roadrunner today and got a Garmin GPS. I don't know that I'll keep it, but I'm really interested in giving it a try. I'll give you a full report back.

While I was at RR I could smell fuel outside. You know what that area is like - so industrial. I figured it was idling trucks or something. Until I read this:

I've read that the Garmin GPS is far superior to the Nike version. Hope so. Can't be worse!

It's totally NOT worse!

Still no word on the source of the smell. I blame the military!
