Blah!

I'm taking a jogging break tonight because I am just really tired and lethargic. Have been all day, actually. I had to rely on my alarm to wake me up this morning and, even then, I did not feel like popping out of bed. I actually contemplated snooze! What is this world coming to!?!

I did walk at lunch today. J and I took a three mile jaunt, which was good. I fully intended on jogging tonight but...no.

OK, the new goal! It has been revised yet again. I am continuing with the 30 minutes of exercise every day. Same deal as before. In addition, I was going to do 6 weeks to 100 pushups. I got in position to do my training tonight....really easy for my level, actually. And that is when it came to my attention - I have NO upper body strength anymore! None. So, I am waaaaay reverting to a goal I contemplated right after I started the first 30 day project. I am going to switch off days and do pushups (girl style) and ab work for 30 days. I really need to work on some general strength prior to committing to the 6 week program.

So, that is the plan. 30 days of abs/pushups. And moving about for 30 minutes during each of those days. I do believe I can handle that!

P.S. I ate M&Ms and salty mix at work today. Damn them. I'll leave it to you to decide if I am cursing work or the snacks!

Sounds like a good plan. What are "girl" pushups?

Interesting that you mention pushups because I did 10 pushups and 10 situps after my walk this morning! Will do that for a couple weeks and hopefully increase the number as time goes by.

Walked loops on 140th Ave this morning because I didn't want to get too far from home in case it rained. Ha! No such luck. Last night they were predicting .5 to 1 inch for us by this morning. Not a drop here. Went around us again but mostly it petered out they are saying this morning.

Off to work.

Ah....weather men. I want a job where I can be wrong 90% of the time and still get paid!

Sounds like a good walk. Even if the only moisture you were subjected to was your own sweat!

We are on the same page, goal wise then! Funny! Girl pushups are on the knees rather then on the toes.

I am officially starting a food diary today. I think that will help a lot with the snacking.
