Ode to Spin Class

Spin, you make me think 'I can do this.'
You make me feel all the muscles in my thighs.
You make me think my stairs at home are a mountain.
But I did it.

Spin, the sweat you give me is like no other.
Drenching, dripping, happy sweat.
I fit right in with my classmates.
Nothing out of place here.

Spin, my heart rate soars for you!
I feel like: I've done something major when we've finished.
I'm on top of the world.
My body is strong.

Spin, how I love you.
I'll see you next week.

(P.S. This was written by an amateur Ode Writer who isn't really sure what an Ode is. But Spin makes me think I can do anything!)

I don't know what an Ode is either or how to spin!

I'm loving spin class A LOT. It is an intense biking class, but stationary bike. You adjust your resistance and do all kinds of crazy things like jumps. I love it.

That said...I HATE butt and gut. It owned me tonight. I told Paul it is like the mafia. I'm starting small and will work up in the organization and kill it!!!! Tonight it killed me. I didn't even know I had muscles in those spots.
