My Research Reveals

I pulled a muscle in my right groin area while working on the Model A a few days before May 5th, 2012.  Then, on May 5th, I really aggravated that by running 16 miles.  I went to the Urgent Care in Osceola twice a week apart for that and then started physical therapy.  On June 1st, I wrote that "something was going on with my left heel" but I wasn't sure what it was.  That's when I went to see the podiatrist in Osceola and later the sports medicine Doc in St. Croix Falls.  Both diagnosed Achilles tendonitis and advised more PT which I did.  The podiatrist also ordered new orthotics which I got.  I can't find a reference to exactly when or how I pulled that Achilles tendon except for the note above on June 1.

Now, this spring I have seen the podiatrist in St. Croix Falls twice and have been through another round of PT.  I have to say that the Achilles tendon is certainly much better than it was although it still bothers me some.  The pain I'm feeling now seems to be more in the ankle than the heel.  I haven't decided what the next step will be.

That's good research! And way too long to be dealing with pain.

Where are you today with pain?

Yesterday wasn't too bad. I started massaging the ankle several times during the day and continued icing it.
