Yes, you read that right. I did a 2 mile run this morning. And it went well. Pace was 10:48. No real pain in the heel or ankle at all. Progress? For sure, but too soon to tell if it's real or imagined. I did start massaging it yesterday and did so 5 or 6 six times. I'm also continuing to ice it 3 times a day.

Congratulations! I bet that felt great to get out there! Outside run, right? Yeah, time will tell. But I think this bodes well. And I think icing is a really good idea.
I'll be interested to hear how you're feeling tomorrow. I'll be feeling sad and lonely because my company will be gone.
