Texas x3!

Today is the first day in quite some time that I've done this hill 3 times.  When I was half way done with my second ascent, I thought, "Why not just do 2 and save the 3 for Wednesday?"  And then I realized.  Today I have time.  Wednesday?  Who knows!  So I did the 3.  Very challenging.  But I did it.

I also did 12 pushups and pretended to do crunches.  Only pretended.

I did really well with my eating again this weekend.  I think that the eating first thing in the am is really a game changer.  That and I'm really trying to pay attention and not just eat out of habit.

How does the Texas hill compare to Washington Street? Just wondering.

I guess I don't understand the eating first thing. You mean the minute you get up? Then do you also have your normal breakfast?

You know, I'm not sure. I'll look into it and see if I can get a comparison of the elevation and distance.

Yeah, the moment I get up I have just a plain old piece of bread (whole wheat) with soynut butter (or PB). And then do my regular thing of drinking tons of coffee and eating my regular breakfast a couple of hours later. Because I'm normally not hungry in the am. I can be up for 2 or 3 hours before eating breakfast.

Sure seems like it's made a change and is helping me throughout the day. We'll see if I feel the same in January.
