On the Road Again
This morning I ran around the 4 mile block and the run itself went fine. However, they have stripped the blacktop off of 140th Avenue in preparation for resurfacing it so that stretch was hard to run on. Very gravelly and washboardy. Hey, I can make up words! Anyway, I won't run there again until it's been resurfaced. 170th Street which is gravel is a much better surface but, of course, that's always been gravel and well maintained. 140th is just a mess right now. Nice morning. Cloudy, 58, slight breeze. We had 2/10's of an inch of rain early this morning.

Sounds like a beautiful morning for a run!
Boy, surfaces like that sure can be dangerous. Easy to trip.
And once a word is on the internet, it's real. You own it!
