131.8

Yep! I'm getting there! You are the only person who gets the candid rundown on my weight! Well, you and our millions of readers........

But I have really been watching what I eat and I can tell. This week has been really difficult for me as far as getting to the gym or running hills. So that means the only thing I'm doing different is reducing calories. Sad!

I woke up to coffee Palmer would love! It was clear - I left my beans in the grinder rather then putting them in the basket!

I wanted to tell you that I'm doing great at eating at my table. Ever since I first mentioned it, I have had breakfast and dinner there. And I think that helps me feel like I'm "really" eating. Not just snacking. The food journal is helping me, too.

OK, on to the run! It was great. Really nice day again. I didn't get run down by cars and I saw no new people. Only the usual suspects.

I did abs when I got back but I skipped the lunges. My legs were feeling really weak. I might actually take a day off tomorrow. My left Achilles tendon has been tender the last couple of days. Honestly, I'm blaming the lunges. That is the only new thing I've added. Guess I had better stick with squats.

OK, time for a late dinner - just got home. Love you!

Well, I'm at 173.0 this morning and was glad to see that. I still want to lose those 3 lbs though.

Ha! How was the coffee then? No calories in that! I think we always do better eating at the table. Seems like a meal then and not a snack which, for me, always leads to more eating. So, good for you!

I met with Mike Colaizy at Wild River Fitness yesterday to get started on my free month which is starting on Tuesday. He thinks I should work on my "core" so that's what I'll do. He's going to put a workout together so we'll see what he comes up with on Tuesday when I go.

I had a shorter run this morning. Only 2.76 miles. But went fine. I'm hoping to buy some new shoes on Monday. Need them so will go and look.

You can do it! I feel like we're both really doing well and paying attention to this stuff. That spells success!

I'm excited to hear about your personal training and use of the gym. I think "core" work is good for your entire body, so that will help a lot.

I hope you have fun with that! I bet you will!

Oh, you'll see no post from me today. I way slept in (until 6) and am taking a day off. Back to it tomorrow!

By the way, I was 131.8 again today. Which is great, especially considering that I usually weigh in after I run. So I'm dehydrated, I suppose.

No exercise, but healthy eating again today.

My food scale has been seeing a ton of action!
