Quick Update

I had a good run today. Still a bit slower then I'd like, but that's ok. I was tired and I wanted to enjoy being out there so I didn't fret over my pace.

But I ran 5.56 miles and my pace was 10:18.

I've been adding distance on at the Kensington loop. It is fast, flat, and low traffic! And that counts for a lot!

I also won a big battle today. I was at the store, frozen pizza in hand! And I put it back. It was a struggle. But I came home and made a little burger on my forman grill and made some sweet potato chips. Good and healthy! So now I'm happy!

OK, gotta get my brain beauty sleep! I'm getting up at 5 tomorrow so I can study more. But I just can't absorb more tonight.

XO

Good morning. Ah, the Kensington Loop! Glad to see it has a name.

I did well last night, too. We went to Dalles House for dinner and I wanted the prime rib but had pork medallions with mushrooms in wine sauce instead. Very good and healthier I think.

Foot felt pretty good all day yesterday and does again this morning, too. Went for a 2 mile walk outside and had to hold myself back from running the 2nd mile home. Going to give it a couple more days and see how it feels. I can feel a little twinge down there but not bad. Have it on ice again now though as a precaution. Am thinking now I might need to buy another pair of these ACICS shoes for everyday use.

Took golden oldies with me this morning although they're not by the original artists so they're not really so golden.

Hope you do well on your test this morning!

Sure sounds healthier - and still delicious! Both are important.

Oh, I bet it was hard not to run! You are smart to give it a couple more days yet, but I totally understand how hard it is. I hated not running when I was sick, but I knew it just wasn't an option. Sigh!

We've gotta find you the originals!
