Ready....

For a day off tomorrow! I have a running date on Sunday with a friend who is training for a marathon in early June so we are going to do a bit of a longer run. That means I'm going to take tomorrow off so I have some get-up-and-go on Sunday. Because my legs were like noodles today!

I had a good run today - slow again though. But it was over 4 miles. I wanted to stop at 3, but it was only psychological. I knew I had the physical ability to finish. So I did.

And I finished up my first week of the 100 pushup challenge. Just 4 sets of varying numbers of pushups. I hope I can do it this time. I think it was harder before because I was new at pushups. Now I have more muscle memory. And, yes, I just totally made that up!

And then I ran hills at lunch. Just 5 today - I didn't want to break myself.

Good morning. +47 here at 8 am so I went for a 5 mile bike ride this morning. Foot was bothering me most of yesterday and last night and still is this morning. Bike riding doesn't bother it at all but I don't feel it's as good a workout at running. Heart rate doesn't get up there like it does when running. But that's my life at the moment I guess. Pretty cool out there though. A breeze from the north kept me chilled going north. Was better coming back home.

Also did some push ups and sit ups.

Wind is harsh! Especially when you are biking fast! It isn't the same as running, true. But you are working totally different muscles, and that is a really good thing!

I sure hope your foot continues to feel improved like it did today....hm...yesterday! Sorry - I'm behind!
