Good morning. I went for my 5 mile bike ride this morning. Temp was exactly 40 and no wind so it was cool but ok.
I got the orthotics adjusted yesterday and so far, so good. Wore them in tennies about 4 hours after adjustment and went all right. Will wear them in some hard shoes this morning and see how it goes. They do feel better than they did.
But, get this, the guy says to me, "If we adjust the arches any lower there won't be much point in having them." Well, then, what is the point? I'm really not convinced I need them but I will use them and see how it goes.
We're supposed to get rain after midnight tonight and into tomorrow morning so hope they are right.
Weird! That makes me wonder if it was just too much too soon. Maybe, in addition to getting acclimated to the number of hours wearing them, you need to get used to the amount of arch. Start low and move up. Cause it is a big change.
But I suppose that is expensive in money and time so they just give you the final arch and wish you the best of luck.
Well, I really do wish you the best of luck. This stinks.
I'm listening to classical music on Minnesota Public Radio right now. He just said you should be getting rain tonight. I hope so!!
