I had a really busy day and I'm tuckered out! First, I'm feeling a lot better. Not 100% but substantially better.
So much so that I rand 12.49 miles today! I can't even believe it, but it is true. My time was good with my mile pace averaging 10:15/mile.
Then, as if that was not enough (!), one of my neighbors and I went for a walk over into Kensington.
Bart and I relaxed the rest of the afternoon. And now I'm going to bed.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!
I AM impressed! Personally I can't even imagine such a run. Wow! Good for you!
I rode my bike 5.4 miles again this morning. Gorgeous day here. No wind at all. About 60. Perfect morning. Took my friend Elton with me and know you will be glad to hear that.
On those orthotics....they hurt! I mean really hurt. I wore them about 3 hours total on Friday (2 1.5 ;hr times), about 4 hours total on Saturday (2 2 hr times), and then 3 hours yesterday morning. But by 10:30 I had to take them out and put in the old insoles in my dress shoes. Sure glad I brought them with me. Then last night I decided to put them in for a couple of hours again but took them out at one hour and I'm not wearing them again until I get them back to Stillwater for adjustment or something. They hurt. Feels like I'm walking on golf balls in my shoes. Arch is much too high I think. But how can that be when they were made from molds of my feet? I don't get it. Anyway, I'm not wearing them any more until I can get back there. And, of course,I'm wondering what this waste of time is gonna cost me.
So, that's that. Have a good day Runner Girl! Or should I say, Runner Maniac?
Thanks! I was pretty darn proud of myself. I felt so much better yesterday - thus the run! - but no running today. I just don't feel good.
Ah, Elton! Guaranteed to make you exercise faster to get it over with!
That seems wrong about your orthotics. Because you have been easing into them. I could understand if you wore them all day the first day, but.....better ask! And take aspirin!
