Well, I've blabbed my news already! But I'm so excited that I did my run under 30 here! I know I've done it in Wisconsin, but there was just something about doing it on my home course with only internal motivation that made this great!
My time was 29:56:41. The new time to beat!
I didn't run hills at lunch because it is freaking HOT out! This will last for a bit. I'll continue to bring my gym gear, but I won't force myself out there if it is too hot.

Congratulations Runner Girl!!! I bet that felt good.
I came home from work and ran at 4:45 just before I had to get back to work for a meeting. Well, it was TOO hot for me. Josh rode bike along side to keep me going though. Yay for Josh! He's my personal trainer. Went to the gym yesterday too and learned a "cheater" pull up. Very good workout. My push ups are coming along. Printed out week 3 so I have it with me in New Orleans next week.
Got up this morning and ran the same route I did yesterday. Ran faster and it felt better. So you can have an idea of the route, I run S on 180th and then turn E on 140th. Some hills there (BOTH WAYS) funny how that works!
Dad, how's the knee???
Have a great day team!
Congratulations! Wow! Amazing. And in city traffic, too!
Thanks! Although I have to be honest and say there is not a lot of traffic at 6 AM! I mean, come on! It isn't LA!
Oh, tell Ang! What the heck is a cheater pull up???
Sounds like a good day of working out. I'm excited about our 100 pushups! Day off today.

Well, you lay on the floor and use the bench press bar. Legs straight out and you use your arms to pull up...hard to explain I guess. But hard and very effective. I did a whopping 4 of them yesterday. Today I am shooting for 5 ;)
