Back to the gym!
Boy, it sure goes quick, doesn't it? I did not go to the gym for a week while I was in SD, and I could really tell. Felt weak! Skipped a couple of my usual exercises, because I didn't want to break myself.
When I went to the grocery store today, I was so hungry. So I looked for a healthy snack. I saw a little container of macadamia nuts and thought I could eat that on my way home. But then I saw that the container was 6 servings at 200 calories per serving! So not that. Then I saw a container of vegetable chips (beets, carrots, and stuff like that). That was 120 calories per serving - and there were 7 servings in that tiny container!
So I had zero snacks today. Well....not true. I did have an apple tonight!

Yeah, snacks are a real problem. I've been trying to stay away from the peanuts and eat pretzels instead but not with success every day. it's unbelievable how many calories and fat calories can be in such a little bit of snack stuff. This past week has been bad for me in that department with Thanksgiving and all. Getting back on track today. I hope.
Agreed! I know nuts are healthy for us but, dang, the servings are so tiny and the calories so giant! And I do love pretzels but once I get started with salty snacks - game over!
