Yay taper week!

Not only am I tapering and so running less, it's cooler out!

I woke up pretty sore this am but did my 7 mile run. My audio book finished at mile 1, so I rocked it old school and really had a fun time listening to music. One thing I noticed is that my mind thought about work a lot. Guess those audio books really are giving me a much needed mental break. On the other hand, my pace was better with the music.

What are you going to listen to during the marathon? Book or music?

Initially I thought I would just use music because I wanted to focus on the course and my pace. But now I wonder if I won't want to escape from the course and my pace! So I think I'll go prepared for both.

I'm feeling remarkably unsore today.

Glad to hear you're not sore. That says something about your conditioning and physical fitness. You are ready!

I did my usual 3 on the TM here this morning. Felt very good about it today.
