Back to it

I took Sunday off - no particular reason. I just wanted to I guess! It was nice out so I semi regretted it. But I did go to the farmer's market. And that was really nice.

I had a good run today. I was glad to be out but, man, did I oversleep today. 5:30 before I got up. I just kept hitting snooze. Very unusual for me. And I went to bed at a semi-decent time last night, so who knows! Anyway, I was sort of thinking, "You're tired...take it off..." But I'm glad I didn't because it was a good run and a beautiful morning. First day in a long time where I didn't wear a thermal shirt of my warm up jacket.

I did pushpus and abs when I got back. Yep, back to pushups! Oh, did I tell you that my doctor said to totally stop with the leg lifts? She thinks that they add even more strain to the lower back.

And I ran hills at lunch. The sun felt so good!

Did you eat healthy on your trip? I did not this weekend. Oh well, back at it.

Good morning. I'm back at it this morning, too, and it felt like work but good work. Did a 3.05 mile run but only got credit for 2.98 miles. It seems like when I turn the ipod off to shower, etc, and then back on is when I lose that distance. Gonna try sending it in immediately tomorrow morning and see what happens. If I remember! I also did the full complement (60 each) of pushups and situps and it's the first time I've done that in more than a week!

You think of 5:30 am as "sleeping in?" Whose kid are you anyway? Not ours!

I didn't eat so healthy over the weekend but my scale at home says I lost a pound. Go figure. Makes no sense.

Off to work.

That's nuts. I really need to see if I can find anything on the forum.

You are my pushup/situp hero! I'm just restarting my pushups and I'm up to 3 sets of 5! I'm impressed!

Well, I hate getting up that early if it is any consolation. It isn't any consolation to me so I doubt it will be to you......

Well, a win for team "We Hate Scales!" My scale is on my side for once, too. 129.2 today!
