Yoga Uses Muscles!

I went to my second yoga class this morning and it was a different style than the last one. And it really needed muscles! In fact, some of the poses I couldn't do. I had to do modifications. Modification is a polite way of saying "easy", I think! And there were several poses that really caused me to tremble. So I felt like I really was getting some exercise! Planning on the gym tomorrow. Time for me to stop slacking and get back to business. Been meaning to ask you: will you run when we are in Israel? I was thinking of not bringing any running gear but wanted to know your plans first.

Mom is going to a yoga class tomorrow so hope it goes well for her! Hope she doesn't need muscles!

I don't think I will try to run on the trip. I brought everything in 2013 when we went and only managed to get it done on one day during the whole trip! Of course, I was the "leader" on that trip so had extra things to do but days are full. Lots of walking. Up early in the morning and on the go all day. Too tired by evening. At least, that's me! Right now, I'm not planning to worry about it. We are concerned about our weight though because the breakfast and dinner buffets are spectacular! Will power might be in short supply.

I hope not, too! I'm still feeling it two days later! I will go again, for sure.

Ok, I think I'm going to no worry about my running gear. Because what you are saying is exactly what I imagine - we are going to be on the go from sun up to sun down. We are going to be doing a lot of walking. We will be worn out from this. And we won't have the kind of free time we need to run. Maybe I'll make a goal to do some quantity of situps/pushups/squats every day. And, you know, get my steps!

Ooooo, cannot wait to lay my eyes on a willpower shattering buffet! Lookout olives, HERE I COME!!

Dad, I'll eat your olives for you! Cause I love you.

Thanks for eatiny my olives! But you might have to fight Mom for them.

I'm thinking today that I might just wait and see how my packing goes and if there is room for my shoes I will take them. A shirt and pair of shorts won't take much space or add any weight to a suitcase. So I'll see. But I really don't think there will be much if any opportunity for a run.
