Snack Attack

Well, it happened. I had a snacking breakdown today. My snack was 100% whole wheat crackers so.....that's good I guess? Or, maybe I should say, at least there's that? Anyway, I practically ate my entire daily allotment in crackers! Dinner tonight is going to be protein powder and greens sauteed in water! Not tasty but Lose It tells my I'm now way behind on my protein and I know I've only had one serving of vegetables today. But, on a positive note, I got to a full point and STOPPED. And then (warning - this is wasteful!) I threw the rest of the crackers away. Because, if I didn't, I would totally eat them. So that's what I did. And then I went to the gym (which was my plan, anyway) and I ran a bit on the treadmill (15 min), then I did my usual weights. And then I walked on the treadmill after. Usually I'd say, "Well, I'm snacking now so I'll go for it and just not do it tomorrow." So I'm really happy that I didn't do that today. So I'm irked that I snacked but glad that I handled it differently.

However, whole wheat crackers are not Xmas cookies so it hardly counts. And your dinner sounds absolutely....atrocious. I'm sure the "greens" part was ok though.

Taking a day off here.

This made me laugh!

Good news, I did not have that atrocious dinner. I was going to and then I thought.....that just sounds so awful! And I'm hungry. And eating that might set me up for more binge eating later because I'd just get hungry again and think "Well, I'll have oatmeal." And then I'd end up eating 100 bowls of oatmeal! So, instead, I had leftovers. Which was super healthy, all the same. I had two vegetables (spaghetti squash and roasted cabbage) and the end of my chicken dish. And it was good and I was happy!

I hear you have INSANE coldness! Washoe county closed all schools yesterday due to our "blizzard".

Glad to hear you came to your senses about your dinner the other night!

I've had my run and exercises this morning and now am going to Duluth to take Grandma to lunch. Mom is not going this time so I'm taking my ipod and will listen to oldies all the way! And maybe Joseph which I haven't listened to in a long time. Oh, BTW, we got tickets to Dirty Dancing out there for Sunday night, Feb. 26th.

Me too, thst would have been a long and hungry night otherwise!

How was your trip to Duluth? I know you must have had fun during your car ride!

I hope that show is great! Can't believe how quickly that is coming up.
