3rd Time is the Charm!

Took me three attempts to get my run in today! But I was dedicated to it because today was nice and had blue sky. And I was bound and determined to enjoy it, dang it! First time I went out was around 9 or 9:30 this morning. And it was pure ice out there. I couldn't believe it. Probably just under 1/4" thick. I seriously considered still doing it but then I told myself to not be such a dolt and just wait. Second time was around noon. Went outside and there were the furnace guys! I don't know if I've told you I have been having furnace problems. But this was their third and, we all hope, final visit. Especially Sam. He's done with them! Anyway, they were here until 2:30 or a little after. My third try was after they left. And I was successful! 4 miles around the lake and it was really nice. It is so beautiful here right now. And I got my first Reno cheer! Some oldser cheered me today. And I, of course, smiled and waved at him. So that was super nice. In my heart, he did not vote for Trump. I refuse to believe it.

Always the positive attitude! Good for you! And congratulations on the "sticktoitivness." Is that a word? Anyway, I probably would have given up but not you!!

I am continuing to run 3 miles and do my exercises every day. Headache this morning but none yesterday. Can't understand it. Anxious to get to Phoenix and see how it is. Keep wondering if it's something environmental like something in the house. Can't imagine what. No sign of mold anywhere since I replaced those windows in our bedroom and bathroom last spring.

I plotted a route around that house we've rented in Surprise and it's exactly a 4 mile route. I'm doing 3 miles ok now but think a jump to 4 might be a stretch but I'll see. Perfectly level it looks like. Well, an elevation difference of 30 feet over the 4 miles!

If sticktoitivness isn't a word, I think we should hereby declare it a word - cause it works!

3 miles is so great and I bet you can really tell a difference in your stamina already. I'm also very curious about Phoenix. It sure could be environmental although, I agree, that would be really strange. Especially since Mom is not having similar symptoms.

Sounds like you have a great route! I'm hoping you have no stoplights to deal with. Sounds darn flat, which I like.
