Hills and Gym!

Little hills, though!  I actually was not going to do any running or hills today but work was just so busy and I had nothing to do for an actual lunch break.  And I thought, "Well, I could just keep working though lunch....NO!"  That's what I would have done in the past though!  So I put on my gear and went outside.  Just went up and down my little hill for 20 minutes.  Very enjoyable listening to my audio book.

I did the gym after work.  So busy there.  But after 4 when I was leaving?  INSANE.  Not a place to park.  Note to self: If I can't go till 4, don't go!

I did something different today in that I did more dumbbell weights than machines.  Just wanted to try something different.  Usually all of the benches are taken up so I went into the class room (where there were currently no classes) and I used one of those half exercise balls as my bench.  This:


It worked really well!  So we will see how sore I am tomorrow!

I'm glad you're taking care of yourself and getting out over lunch. Never seen one of those half balls before. Hope you're not too sore.

I skipped this morning because I had to be at a pastor's meeting in Falun, Wi (middle of nowwhere between Siren and Grantsburg) by 9:30. Left home at 8:30. Hope to get a run in tomorrow before we head to Duluth for the weekend.
