Insoles: Day 1

So I think they seem ok. My foot doesn't ache and I just now realized that I have not even contemplated my right hamstring today. I have a toe that feels achy and it's the one I have tendonitis in. It doesn't actually hurt though. I did have a good run this am. 5 miles. Good temp. Maybe 70. Only got to 80 today, so a lot cooler than it has been. I lifted weights and I ran hills. Busy day! Now I'm having some sweet peppers (tis the season and they are soooo good!!!) and then I'm having a smart dog. I'm hungry! I wanted to tell you about the "strongly held beliefs" my helper had yesterday! I believe he was probably 21 and I also am pretty sure I had some "strongly held beliefs" at that point in my life! "I have a strongly held belief that the vast majority of runners are heavy drinkers." Wow, did I totally disagree. I don't know anyone like that nor do I see that in Runners World or any forums and it doesn't hold true with the running group that I get email from every day! "I have a strongly held belief that virtually all runners are extroverts." HAR HAR! Such crap! "I have a strongly held belief that runners should not listen to music when running." Orly? "I have a strongly held belief that runners can have epiphanies that bring them to tears when running." Dear Shoe Dog Guy, what bunk....oh, wait. Yeah, I agree. He gets one shoe out of 4!

I'm laughing out loud! I have a strongly held belief that I would like to meet that guy! Heavy drinkers? No way! That must have been fun....except for when you were barfing!

You had a busy day, too, with all that exercise! Way to go. Hope the insoles continue to help. I won't my new orthotics until a week from Thursday.

Only 39 above here this morning so, of course, I was on the TM again for 3 miles. Went ok and did all my exercises. Now off to work.

I know, so silly, huh?! Maybe frat runners are the only runners he knows!
