I did run today. I don't have deep regret. Shallow regret, maybe. But, dang, I can't just sit around! I ran 4ish miles. And my leg was sore, but I didn't have the stabbing pains. And then I made sure to keep it lathered in menthol, I kept it bound, and I used heat and ice. So hopefully I can baby it but run.
It did feel a lot better today and I don't know if that was acupuncture or rest. Either way, I'm glad. Not 100%, but better. I have another acupuncture appointment tomorrow at 7:15. At the very least, it will be relaxing!

Sure hope you get over this but some of these things just take time. Tell me about it!
I got the new orthotics yesterday so now another period of getting use to them. I'm not going to run in them however. At least not yet.
Did 3 on the TM this morning. Heel bothered me some but I just kept going.
We both learn the hard way that these things take time!
I sure hope those new orthotics help. I know you said you won't wear them running right away. That's smart. I learned the hard way!
I bought a foam roller today. Do you have one? I've had 3 professionals tell me to get one, so I finally did. Dang, it hurts. Guess that probably means I really need it!
Bed soon here. I am running tomorrow but I'm not sure how far. Far enough to listen to the end of my book series. I can't wait!

Oh. I don't know. I've got that big ball here that I don't use so I suppose I could get one of these and not use that, too.
Good point!! I've got all kinds of stuff hanging around too! I will say that rolling my leg did not make me yelp in pain today and I'm feeling a lot better. I felt better Saturday, too. But I was just so paranoid I didn't do all my miles.
