Whew!

I had a really good - and really full! - day of exercise. I ended up leaving work late again and so I almost slacked out of the gym. But I really want to go three times a week so I just talked myself into it and did it!

I had a great run this morning - 10 miles. And my pace was a lot better then it has been in some time, so I am really happy about that. No rain today, too! That's happy, for sure!

I had a drama filled day at work, so I was really happy to run hills at lunch. I really got out of the habit but I can feel myself getting stronger already. And, honestly, I think that is what is having such a positive impact on my pace. Hills are speed work in disguise, they say. And I think, for once, "they" are right!

And then the gym. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. But I did a full body workout. I'm not sure how much good I am doing in 30 minutes but I figure it is better than zero minutes!

You did have a full day! Bet you are tired this morning.

I have my playlist pretty much decided. Have some final tweaking to do here and there. It's all oldies for me.

Another beautiful morning here. I ran 4 miles outside again today. Did the 4 mile around the block route instead of just going north and back. Now I will rest tomorrow and Sunday and then attempt to do 12 miles on Monday. Not sure yet what route I'll take for that so have to figure that out here.

Yeah, there is always something to figure out, isn't there? If not the play list, then the route. Or the time. Or the hydration. Keeps us busy planning!

I'll be excited to hear how it goes Monday - and how fast you go! Guess the Fitnatics 5K prize won't be a sports bra!

I actually took today off. I got up at 5 but just was sooo tired. Big running day tomorrow though.

Good luck on your big run today! Hope it gos well. I'm wondering where you will do it.

I'm taking today and tomorrow off to rest up for Monday. Guess I will just do the 6 mile ""around the block" route twice here because I have nobody who can come and pick me up somewhere on Monday. The good thing about that is that I can leave a second water bottle at the mailbox and so have a fresh one for the second time around.

It's a good day to take off because it's raining here this morning.

It looks dreary here, but no rain. But I love it when it rains on my day off. It is like a plan coming together. Meant to be!

Good call about the around the block. It is really important to make sure you have enough beverage, so you have a solid plan. And you might have to stop for a bathroom break!

I'm just going to run up to Miramar again. Makes it easy. When I try to do a distance like this in the neighborhood I can never really shelve my mind because I have to keep count. And it is important to float away into another world when doing distance! As you probably know!

So I'm heading up now. Oh, I'm going back to my Nike shoes. I can really feel that ache in the bottom of my right foot and that is new with the shoe switch. It isn't bad, but time to stop now and make sure it doesn't become bad!
