Good GORGEOUS Morning!

What a beautiful morning here! Perfect running weather. Sunny, slight breeze, about 50 degrees. So I went 10 miles!!! Yes, I did! 10.02 miles in 1.41.39 so a pace of 10.08 per mile!!! I ran from home to the church. Had to add a one mile jog behind the Pepsi plant to get it to 10 miles so I did. I can hardly believe it! I am tired now and a little stiff but feeling good! And I ran the whole way. Was hoping the light would be red when I got to highway 8 at Menards so I could stop for a minute or two but it was green so I had to keep going. Had some doubts along the way but just kept moving. I feel very good about this!

I feel great for you! I'm totally excited! Now you just KNOW you can do 13, don't you?

I am fully jealous of your pace. You are faster than me!

Mom says you were faster than her in her car. Which I fully believe!

This is great. You are ready!

Yes, I now think I can do the 13. However, I felt weak in the knees all day yesterday and still feel that way some this morning. I took today off to give them a rest so will see what the rest of the day brings.

One more thing...I'm not convinced that that pace is right either. Sure didn't feel like I was doing that well when I was doing it. Time will tell.

Yeah, I'm not really 100% positive I'm calibrated right either. And it is so frustrating it just makes me want to throw something! But I figure I'm not trying to qualify for Boston so I'm just trying to chill the heck out about it (PS - not being successful at that!).

I'd love to get the Nike+GPS but simply cannot contemplate 200 bucks. Although it is less expensive then other GPS running tools. But the minute I find them on ebay, you and I will be styling!
