Hi! I went to bed darn early last night. I was worn out by the time I got home. But I awoke feeling good this morning - all day, actually. Being rested is one of the most important things to my mental and physical health, I think.
I had a good run today - ten miles. Last year I ran 14.19 miles on the 9th, took the 10th off and ran 5.61 on the 11. I'll probably run 6 tomorrow and 10 Friday. Gym day on Saturday, 15 on Sunday. We'll see. I really need to start doing the long runs, though. I think I'm a week behind from when I started the 15 mile weekly runs last year.
I did 2.5 hills at lunch. I went out and just had no desire to do more! So I didn't. Too big of a run today to make myself.
And, boo, I didn't go to the gym. I planned on doing it but....plans fall apart! I ate lunch so late (probably 4:30), that I was just all out of whack.
And I won't go tomorrow because I will be at the Adams Avenue Farmer's Market. The last one ever! Yep! Attendance is so low (and there are so few vendors now) that the are calling it good and closing up shop. Pretty sad, especially considering that it is summer and much more likely that people would go.
XO!

That's too bad about the FM! Sorry to hear it.
You are doing long runs! Wow. I wish I had started when I was young!
I ran 5 miles this morning outside. Nice morning. No wind. About 60. Very nice. Ran straight north and back. Easy route with no big hills except for our driveway and up to the top there. Very slow time though. Can't seem to pick up my speed outside.
Have a good day!
Haha! I'm not young and you're NOT old! You can still do it! You really can.
Sounds like you had a beautiful morning out there! That's fantastic.
I suppose it is hard to modulate your pace outside when you are used to running on the treadmill. There has got to be a way around that, though. Maybe your talker guy can tell you? Like, "You've run half a mile." or something. They must have a tool.
I did have a good day - I hope you did too!
