No, you were not the only one crying! A couple of really sad parts but what a great story! I can't imagine doing anything like that. But it certainly gives me hope that I can do a half marathon.
I wanted so badly to run outside this morning but we have 2 inches of new snow out there!!!!!! It's +31 and going to +45 this afternoon so it will melt off (hopefully!) but there it is. So did the TM again. My last 3 mile run (except for 2 5K runs coming up in April and May). Starting next week my standard daily run will be 4 miles and then 5 and 6 miles on Saturdays and Mondays. I'll start that in San Diego!

I'm glad I was not alone! I can't imagine doing that - good for him. Yeah, it gives me the feeling like I know I can do something hard because that guy did something really really really hard!
What the heck with the snow! I can't even believe that. Did you hit 45 then? Sure hope it is gone.
You have a good plan. San Diego is waiting for your long runs!
