Day o' Bands

I've decided that, in an effort to ease back into running, I'm going to do one day on and one day off this week. So this morning I dedicated to upper body bands!

The best part about the bands is that each color is a different resistance. So if I get to good on one color, I'll move up to the next. There are other ways to increase the resistance, too.

So, I did that for about 40 minutes. And I'm sore!

A run tomorrow! Although, I'm not going to lie. My foot feels a little tender today. So that is part of why I'm taking it easy. I suppose I ought to suck it up and call the doctor already!

No point in pushing it that's for sure. I'm glad I didn't although it's very hard to be so patient. Maybe a doctor visit is in order but go to a podiatrist, not a "regular" doctor. Or go to someplace like that Tria in Bloomington that Angie went to.

She wanted me to come in to rule out a break. But she will for sure give me a referral next week if I ask for one. She is a hard core runner, too, so she understands the urgency and paranoia!
