First, it was so beautiful this morning! I actually really enjoy getting outside so early because it is just so darn pretty.
I also know that I ran right through an area where a skunk had been. YUCK!
Anyway, great run again today. My three mile was 29:17. I was having so much fun, though, that I decided to do four! And I'm pleased to report that my 4 mile time was 39:53! First time I've done that in under 40 minutes!
Then I did pushups, lunges, and squats - the usual. But I also did some calf lifts, and let me tell you, my butt was on FIRE!!
I didn't do hills at lunch. Too darn hot. And if I think it was too hot, you KNOW it was hot! I did dud up and go for about a 30 minute walk. Nothing strenuous. Just a reason to get out of the office.
Then I met Bart over at the cages after work. Boy, can I tell it has been forever since I've done that! I can already tell I'm going to be sore tomorrow. And I'm really glad tomorrow isn't a pushup day!!

You are just becoming a running demon! I'll never win another race! But that's ok. Good for you.
Today was a bike riding day so I rode two miles north on 180th and 2 miles back (of course!). No gravel on that route so faster time. 22.13. I liked it! Beautiful morning here, too. About 52 when I left the house and I remembered to wear gloves today so hands didn't freeze! Then did my 15 pushups, 20 situps and another 10 pushups. They're getting easier so will add another 5 pushups at the end there on Monday. Leg feels fine. Biking doesn't seem to bother it at all. Felt it a little yesterday as I walked but not bad and didn't bother me the whole rest of the day so I hope it's healed! Might try walking a mile on Monday and running the mile back and see how it goes.
I enjoyed those batting cages and wish we had some around here.
Have a good day.
Ha! Oh, you will win! I have faith in that! But I'm really enjoying it - although today I did it because it is what I do. Which is very cool all on its own.
Glad you had a good bike ride - great time! And it is nice to not freeze. That would especially happen on the bike, I suppose cause you are going so fast.
I bet you will really notice a difference with five more pushups. Man, they are hard!
