I'm going to give AM posting a try. I can always edit to add hills or other stuff.
I had a great run this morning. Just right under the wire, let me tell you!! 29:59!
I didn't have to wear my safety vest today. Why? Cause I left super late!! 6:15! But I was dedicated to the run, so I did not let some lateness stop me. And I saw more runners this AM then I bet I have in the past month!! Three!
Such a beautiful morning here. But I think it is going to get hot! But I saw the big orange sun coming up so it was darn enjoyable. Fall is on the way though. It used to be practically full daylight when I would run at 6!
Editing to add: Yep, I ran hills at lunch! Boy, I'm ready for it to cool down a bit. It is so hot it just really takes the joy out of running at lunch. Soon enough it will happen. Probably right around the time I get company!

This is something new! I rode the bike around the block this morning in 24.59. A couple of hills there are killers! But I didn't have to get off and walk. That's a whole nother kind of exercise! but my leg didn't bother me at all. Not once. Sitting on the ice now so hoping for another good day. I might like this bike riding but my seat is so hard! We bought these bikes in Billings before Amy was born so they are old! But the tires still hold air which is amazing to me. And the rear brake doesn't work so have to be a little careful about that. Otherwise, I liked it!
Excellent time!
That is GREAT!!! Hills are really hard! I bet you will be sore in an entirely new way! I'm really glad you enjoyed it - it is nice to have different (fun!!) exercises to do. Helps keep it spicy.
I have a gel seat on my bike. I bet you can get a new seat at Walmart, actually. At least a seat cover. My seat actually has a cushion-y cover on it!
I sure hope this helps your gimp recovery!
I might have to look for a new seat or a seat cover. Wish I could get the rear brake fixed, too, so might talk to Paul Smith about that. He fixed up Angie's bike for her.
