This is getting weird. Didn't do anything yesterday morning because it was Sunday and my day off from exercise. However, Mom wanted to go for a walk after supper so we did almost 2 miles and my leg bothered me the whole time. Hadn't bothered me at all Saturday on the bike ride or the rest of the day. And didn't bother me yesterday until we started the walk.
So this morning when I got up I went for a 2 mile walk and it was just fine! Only difference was that I did the stretching exercises this morning and didn't last night before we went. Must be the difference. They are such simple exercises and not strenuous at all so hard to believe they matter but they must. Anxious now to see how the rest of the week goes. Am giving the walking/bike riding routine one more week. I wanted to try running this morning when it felt ok but resisted the temptation. But I really do want to get back to that. Don't get my heart rate up while walking at all and only occasionally on the bike when going up hills.

Oh, that is weird! And you must be right that the exercises are helping even if they don't seem really strenuous.
I know what you mean about your heart rate. Biking up hills is really hard. Which is probably specifically why I hate biking up hills!!
You are a strong man! Boy, it has to be so hard not to run. But you are wise to hold off. This way you will be back in the game and 100% even sooner!
