You know, sleeping is such a great thing! I went to bed at 8:30 last night. And fell right asleep. And I slept all night through until 5 AM. Probably could have slept a little more even! But I just had such a great day and felt so good. I love sleep. I ought to get more!!
I had a great run this morning. 29:02! I KNOW! And then I added two more pushups to each set this morning so I did a total of 48. Yep, you are right - nobody should pick a fight with me! And then I ran hills at lunch. Mostly because I needed to get the heck out of dodge for a bit.
I was so hot and sweaty from hills and working in my 100% non-air conditioned office that I had to shower when I got home! It is so much cooler today then yesterday, but it is still darn hot!
Well, I think I'm beating this weight thing. Saturday I was below my goal weight, but I really think that was just due to the heat. In other words, yes, I think I am smarter then my scale and know better when I am weighing something "for real"! And I was right - I'm back up. Two pounds above goal. But I really feel like I'm getting there. Now, between you and me, after I make goal I can probably stand to lose another 5. Just flabby stomach stuff, if you know what I'm saying. It is there to be lost! But I'll probably just continue what I'm doing after I hit my goal, not cut calories or add exercise to make five more pounds. Talk about making life not worth living!!

29.02? Wow! That is impressive! And I mean that, too. I am impressed. And 48 pushups! You are amazing!
I do know what you mean about the belly fat. I can't seem to get ride of it either. I'm still doing 20 situps every morning but doesn't seem to be helping with the belly fat. I see all these machines on TV though that will do the trick! My weight is holding steady at 6-7 lbs below my goal weight so guess I need to set a new goal.
Rode the bike around the block this morning and went the opposite direction thinking it would be easier. But guess what? There are hills going that way, too! Silly boy! Really got the heart rate up this morning so felt good. 23.48 was my time.
Have a good day!
Thanks! I was pretty pleased. It was even better because I just felt strong when I was doing it. Like I was really really running.
Sounds like a good bike ride! Yeah, those hills get you coming and going! And your hills are no joke! Glad you got your heart rate up. And I'm glad that leg is doing OK!
A new weight goal? You know, they say it does not actually matter how many sit ups or crunches you do. It all comes down to weight. So maybe that will do the trick.
