More Drama

More drama this morning.  I turned it on and put it in my pocket.  It worked but, again, the calibration was way off from the Garmin.  I think it said 1.87 miles when the Garmin said 3.05.  However, it did allow me to recalibrate it again today so maybe now it will calibrate according the motion when it's in my pocket instead of in my hand?  We'll know on Monday!  Stay tuned!

I'm wondering if runners who really, really swing their arms run farther over the same distance than runners who barely swing their arms?  You are right though.  You would think a huge company like Nike with trillions of dollars to spend could figure out a way to get this right.

On the up side this is the first week since late April that I have run every single day!  6 days in a row.  Feeling good about that but also thinking I will shoot for 5 days a week through the winter here taking either Wednesday or Thursday off.  Also my weight was down a pound today!  Nothing but good news from here.

Congratulations on the weight and the week of runs! You did have all good news! Well, good news except for Nike. I can't imagine why they cannot get this figured out.

I think you're right that some runners really use their arms. But, let's be honest here. Those guys are high level runners and probably have some special tool they use.

Yay on your weight! I have to tell you that I haven't weighed myself in a couple of weeks. I should. I need to.

I had a pretty stupid day here. The only good part was reading Angie's sermon. Otherwise, things were broken at work, I worked for hours, my movie was sold out, and dinner stunk. And, because I worked so much, I didn't run until late and I only ran like 1.5 miles before I walked. I wish I could have a do over.

I did download a new book, The Road. I've read the book and I saw the movie. And it is actually a book that I think of often. As in ever day often. It is that.....compelling. Anyway, I looked around when I thought I should be home and thought, "Did I walk down the wrong street?" I didn't but I did walk almost 2 blocks past my house because I was so engrossed!

Those books can be a problem then! Sorry about your day. Hope it's a better one today. I'm off to work.
