5'r

Didn't really sleep again last night. Even though I tucked myself in by 8! But I did get up this am and do my 5, per my instructions! And it was really good. It was one of those mornings where I didn't really feel like it but made myself and then I was glad I did it. My time was a lot better today than yesterday. Over 30 seconds per mile better. Still not under 10 but I'm getting there. We're heading to the desert Friday, so I don't plan on running Saturday or Sunday. It will be just waaaay too hot. Probably dangerous hot! Maybe I'll run in the pool like you did! Hopefully only Bart will see me because I know you felt conspicuous! So I bet I will, too!

Have fun in the desert! Why do you go in the heat of summer?

I got up and ran 2 this morning. I don't want to retire or go on sabbatical. So I'm just running through it. Swimming isn't easy to arrange. Would have to join at the Holiday Inn I suppose. Don't want to do that. Yes, I have a couple of exercises to do. The raising up on my toes was both in that article you sent me and what my PT person advised so I'm doing that twice a day.

Never thought about having my vitamin level checked. I do take a men's multi vitamin every day.

Well, listen, I love the heat. So does Bart. Love it. We're gonna lay by the pool and swim. And nap. And watch bats. Full schedule! Added bonus: it's all kinds of cheaper in the summer!

I don't want you to retire or break, either. And I do understand about swimming. First you have to find a spot, then you have to get there. Kind of like me and the gym. It's close, but it's a pain. And going after work is a nightmare because it's so packed.

Just a thought (about the vitamin thing). Although a multi should have you covered. But who knows. Maybe something is missing there and it is impacting recovery time.
