As long as I have been running I have had 3 cardinal rules. And today I broke them all. It was only 39 degrees (40 degree rule), it's a Sunday (day of rest rule), and it's afternoon (always in the morning rule)...all 3 of them were broken this afternoon when I laced up and ran the Fitnatics 5K route with a pace of 10.03 per mile. It was just beautiful out there so I had to do it! The new Garmin found a satellite and worked great! and I now know that when we run that route we have a change in elevation of 97 feet over the course of the route. Nike+ never told me that!

You sure did break all the rules! Sounds like it was totally worth it, too.
I figured you would like some of the reporting aspects of the Garmin. It really provides a lot of information.
I meant to tell you that I did run on Saturday and then I took Sunday off. I'm ready for another week. I made some healthy foods to have during this busy week. So here we go again!
I'm having a very odd Monday morning here because I'm taking the day off. We are going to Duluth and this is why I decided to run yesterday afternoon. Just feels strange though because I always run on Mondays! so another rule broken! What's happening to me?
Day off for me, too. I didn't sleep a wink last night, so I just had no get up and go at all!
I bet it was an odd day! Mom reports that you guys all had a great trip to Duluth and that Grandma is well.
Yes, we did and, yes, she is.
