My calves feel better this morning. Not normal exactly but nothing like yesterday morning. So I ran 2 miles on the TM. I was having some discomfort at that point so decided that was enough for today. I've never had this before. Always something new and exciting in the world of running!
Did you read that story about Frank Shorter in the last Runners World? Very sad for him and his siblings. Wow. And I saw an ad there for the San Diego half! Funny that they didn't mention that we were already registered though. Must have been an oversight.

Yeah, it's always something! Keeps it spicy, I guess. Are you back to as normal as either of us can possibly be yet?!?
I haven't read that yet, but I think I hear that he was abused by his dad? That is really sad. I'll read it tomorrow.
They are probably saving the news of our registration for the last minute when they need to fill those final spaces. "And, did you know, Wayne and Julie are running? Yes, you really must sign up now!"
