Sleeping in fail!

I had to work till 8 last night and I was feeling particularly old and tired, so I figured I'd sleep in this morning. Not so much! I somehow accidentally set my alarm. I immediately turned it off but, dang, the damage was done! I snoozed for about 20 minutes and then just gave up and got up.

And, when I get up that early, I might as well run. So I did! And I listened to Glee. Again. Which you will be listening to soon! Good run - beautiful day.

And I did hills at lunch. So good to get out. And I'm glad to get back to hills because they really help with pace. And then I did my PT things when I got home!

Full day. I'm tired. Hurray Friday!

I hate "alarm" mistakes!

I ran 5.15 miles this morning and Lance was so proud of me again! I figure if I just keep upping mileage by 1/10th every week he'll continue to be proud!

I have decided to alter my training schedule though. Going to put the long runs on Mondays so I'm doing them after a day off and before a CT day on the bike. So I'll have to do 5 miles again on Monday to keep on schedule. Think this will work a lot better for me. I've also decided that when I do the longer runs, I won't do the sit ups and push ups. That will be my reward for the longer runs! Gotta have a plan you know!

I failed with sleeping in again! Pretty sad. Up at 7.

Sounds like a great run this morning! I like to challenge myself so I like it when Lance talks to me.

I like your plan a lot. It is smart and I'm going to do something similar. This way we'll be fresh for our long runs.

But.....didn't you say something like "Plans.....shlams!"to me? Or "who needs plans? We don't need no stinking plans!"

Or maybe that's just what I heard!

Hmmm...I don't remember saying that.
