Good Morning

My training calendar started last Monday and so far I'm right on track. Did 3+ miles again today. Then did my 60 push ups and 60 sit ups. Have started doing "arms crossed over my chest sit ups" instead of "hands around the back of my head sit ups." My personal trainer (Mike Colaizy!) says these are better ab exercises and there's less chance of hurting your back because when your hands are behind your head you are pulling on your neck and that can have consequences. Looking forward to my first 5 mile run tomorrow!

Did you feel a difference with the new sit-ups?

I'm excited to hear about tomorrow - should be fun! When do you figure you can start training outside?

Day of slack today. But, sadly, I woke up before my alarm went off at 7. Oh well!

Yes, I can feel the difference in my stomach muscles. They work harder doing sit ups that way which is the whole point I guess.

I really need to start working on core stuff. I'm inconsistent. But I know it is good for me.

I have PT again on Tuesday so I bet I'll get more exercises to do.
