Well, I had another under 30 run this morning. And I'm especially glad cause I had some SERIOUS doubts about this one! I was about 40 seconds behind when started the horseshoe! That is pretty flat, so I tried to make some up and I maybe picked up 15 seconds, but nothing too life changing. I really had to make my push at the very end - the last 1/4 mile or so. Which I don't like to do so much because it is up that tricky hill. Tricky because it seems like such a little incline - but it is so much longer then I ever remember. I'm surprised every day!!
Did the bands today when I got back. And then I ran my hill x 7! It was good!
Have an excellent run in the AM!!

Well, sometimes it just seems like work! thankfully, it's not that way every day or we would all quit but that's what separates the men from the boys! (And the women from the girls!)
I did my run on the treadmill this morning and it went fine. My push ups are work now though! Took pretty much a whole month off from that and, wow, how quickly I lost that. So back up to 30 of those and 30 sit ups this week. Took the cast of Footloose with me today.
I also took a drive yesterday around the Osceola 5K route. Looks fine except for coming up Summit Ave, then down again, and then up 9th street (( think it's 9th) - anyway, it's another hill. After that, it's a piece of cake.
Funny! I listened to Footloose this morning too! And I had planned to do so since yesterday. We are on the same wavelength!
You are right - the real runners are the ones who run even when it is easier to quit.
I'm rebuilding pushups, too. So I feel your pain. I really lost it. And I want to get my arms in summer shape!
Oh, do you think you will pre-run the route? I know that hill of which you speak. OUCH!
