Out of bed!

I forgot to make my post! What is this world coming to? Or what am I coming to, I guess! Can't blame the world for everything. No matter how hard I try.

I have two ways of failing to get up in the morning. First is snooze. Just hitting the snooze again and again and again.

The other way is to think I hit the snooze when, in reality, I dismiss the alarm! And that is what I did this morning. I just don't know what is going on with me. Totally unlike myself recently. Anyway, at 5:17 I thought "Well, I could just sleep till six at this point...." But, nope! Pulled myself out of bed and made a day of it.

Good run this morning. Sub-30. Listened to Downhere again. Probably will tomorrow, too! Also, I saw my first orange blossoms of the spring!!

Did pushups and abs.

And I ran hills at lunch!

Full day!

Sure hope your foot feels better tomorrow!

You did have a full day of exercise then! Good for you! You do get up awfully early though.

My foot is still bothering me a little but I did run the full 30 minutes this morning and it didn't bother me enough to stop me. I'm wondering if my shoes are worn out and maybe I need new ones. I've used these since last spring. Also did my push ups and sit ups which don't seem to be getting any easier yet!

Have a good day!

I'm glad your foot is feeling better. That is scary. Ah, the things that matter to a runner!

You know, I get new running shoes once a year. Because they do wear out. So it might just be time.

I retain more studying in the morning. I think my brain is not as tired. After 8 PM, I just don't even bother because I won't remember! Which doesn't say much for having school till 10 PM!!

So, I was in the Cities today and stopped by an REI store and talked to the shoe guy there who really did seem to know what he was talking about. I intended to buy new shoes but he encouraged me to buy inserts (at 1/3 the price of the shoes I had in my hand) and see if they made a difference. Seems I need arch support. And I tell you what, my feet felt better with the inserts almost immediately. I will wear them to run in the morning and report how that goes.
