I had another one just like the other one......

Well, not quite just like the other one. For example, today I'm VERY sore!

It must be the hills. I was off of them the entire trip. Well, except the MASSIVE one when we ran the 5K! And today I'm just super extra sore!

I had a really slow run today - almost 31 minutes. It was 30:XX but I'm too lazy to get up and look at my watch! And I felt slow! I knew it while I was going.

Got back and did about 15 minutes of ab stuff.

Then I hit the hills at lunch!

Guess what?!? We had rain this morning! I didn't get rained on when I was out but there were puddles to be avoided and trees a-dripping! It was fun. Really pretty sky with the giant clouds against the darkness. And also pretty as it started to lighten up.

I am going to modify my morning routine a little bit. I am going to continue getting up at five but get my run going at 6:20 or 6:30. It is just so dark in the morning and, even though I run this route every day, I am just really afraid I'll miss a curb and take a tumble. Running in that kind of dark seems to make my gait unnatural, too. Like I'm holding my body as though I'm anticipating a fall.

Should not be a problem as I've not been on the road till 6:20 the last two days!!! We will just say I was testing the idea out! ;)

Well, yeah! You don't want to be running in the dark! The time change in November will affect that, too. I did my thing this morning and it seemed to go well. I skipped most of the warm up exercises and didn't seem to notice so will see what the day brings. I am anxious to try running but am holding off for this week at least. That little aerobic rider is really good for the leg and calf muscles! 10 minutes on that is enough. Have a good day.

Glad you had a good exercise morning - I wonder if skipping those exercises will have a cumulative effect. If may be a few days before you notice. Or, heck, you may be just fine!

Hope you can get back to running! Me too! Skipped today and now it is 11 and I'm STILL not in bed!

I did run hills at lunch today. So there is that!
