Why so long you ask??? Cause I ran longer! Yes, I sure did! I was about done this morning and I just thought - what the heck! I thought I added another mile, but I mapped it out and it was only .81. But still!

It was neat out this morning. Lots of marine layer. I could feel it!

I did two sets of pushups, but I just didn't have a lot of stamina after running so I didn't force it. Also, I'm worn by the end of the week!

I had four tokens in my purse, so I went to the batting cages at lunch. I was so beautiful outside!

Had a big dinner out tonight. It was delicious! I would say I ate healthy if not for the copious amounts used to cook my shrimp, tuna, and vegetables!! We went to a teppanyaki restaurant and it was really fun!

Then Bart and I went bowling. You know, that really is some exercise! I was sweaty!

Here was my drama tonight. My coworker make treats today and REALLY wanted me to eat them. I told her I would take one home because I didn't want to get started eating treats at work. Because I wouldn't quit once I started! And we have all kinds of junk at the office to eat! Anyway, she packed a couple up for me and I had a bite of one when I got home. Put it back in the fridge. And as I was mucking around here I realized "why am I even keeping those? I know myself. I'm going to focus/focus/focus on them until I eat them!" So I threw them away. Wasteful, yeah. But I didn't want them and I would have made a choice I regretted. I know myself. I would have.

So, a successful evening I think!

You've had a busy and productive week! Not sure I would have thrown the treats out though. That took will power and courage!

I did run every morning this week. It was a chore but I did it. I found out when we left yesterday though that my route had only been 1.8 miles instead of 2. So today I was back up to 2. That is still a lot of work though. And I'm thinking I will lose a week when we are in Greece. Not sure if I'll be able to do it there. Took Rhonda Vincent with me this morning.

And I was amazed when I stepped on the scale this morning because instead of gaining 5 lbs this week like I thought I had I actually lost 1/2 lb. Not sure how that happened with all the food I ate but it did. Might have helped that I went to the pool and hot tub every night. Swam for 30 minutes and soaked for 30 minutes. Nice. I also walked 1 mile each day after lunch on a hiking trail they had there.

Ok, we're getting ready to head to DePere.

I also had to ignore my guilt. I felt bad about wasting food, and I felt bad about not doing what my friend wanted me to do. But I've been really making an effort to do what is RIGHT for me rather then what is EXPECTED of me by others.

Good for you! That is hard for me to do - stay on schedule when I'm not in my own home zone. I know how totally disappointing it is to find out the mileage isn't what you thought! BUT you did it and you are back on the full route! Yay!

Sounds like you exercised a lot while you were gone. I think that swimming uses a lot of calories, too. And I think our bodies get excited when we do something a little different and respond well. I love hiking. I bet that was beautiful!!
