Back to the grind

Back at it today! I had a good, albeit somewhat sluggish, run this morning. My time was 32: 39. The time wasn't bad at all. Just one of those outings where I felt slow. I don't know if that even makes sense!

I did a bunch of calisthenics when I came home. I did more lunges then usual. I'm also adding one pushup to my set. So I am doing five sets of six pushups this week.

Ran some hills at lunch. That felt good.

I'm still sore! I just cannot believe how bowling took the wind out of my sails!

I really ate healthy food all day today. I've been having a harder time over the last couple of weeks. Specifically regarding food, not exercise. I don't know why. But I'm just trying to pay attention and do a better - and healthier - job.

You are doing great! How you can do that running in the morning and then hills at noon I don't know!

Only 28 when I got up this morning and was only 35 when I was ready to run so did it inside again today. 28.46 and just had to quit. The whole thing seemed like work today. Some days it doesn't but today it really did. I just had to force myself to keep going.

Next week I'll be at school Monday to Friday so hope the weather warms up so I can run outside. Don't think there is a fitness center at this retreat center where I'm going. They do have a pool though I guess.

Well, I'm motivated! I want to get out of the weight loss phase and into the weight maintenance realm.

BRRRR! Geeze, that's cold. I'm so acclimated to this weather by now that I cannot imagine going out if was 28 OR 35! Don't worry - I'd get used to it again!

I totally understand what you mean. Some days I only get through it by lying to myself. Example: You are already out the door! That's the hardest part! So I know what you mean. Good job sticking to it though.

I hope it warms up for you too! Do you think you might try swimming for exercise? I never do that but I guess it is great for you.
