Back on track!

Well, the good news from the west coast is that the scale was down again! Not where I was last Friday, but I feel better that this was a lot of water weight or something that will easily come off. Well...."easily". All it takes is effort!

I had a good run this morning. 32:29. Almost a minute off of my time yesterday! Then I did lunges and squats. Six hills at lunch and a walk after work! So lots of exercise again.

We went into a beautiful neighborhood after work. The north side of Kensington. Amazing! We will go there if you like next time you visit.

Do you like dates? I got some when we were in Borrego and they are the best I have ever had. I am forcing myself to not eat them all at once! But, let's face it, they make sugar out of those things! I'm limiting myself to two a day. Although yesterday I had four.........Well, two is my goal! As in, I'm going to eat them all till I only have two left!!!

Like I said, a good run this morning. It smells so beautiful out right now because so much is flowering. Really enjoyable.

No, I don't like dates. In the same category as raisins. Dead fruit. So you can eat my share. And, as long as it's my share, they won't count against your total. I think that's the way it works.

16.08 jogging this morning. I'm anxious to get outside and do it so I can judge my distance. Will have to add some distance to my routes because I'm doing more than 2 miles now for 30 minutes. It's getting easier and easier to do. Want to get to 20 minutes soon now.

I ate too much for dinner last night and then had 2 xcoops of vanilla ice cream wtih a little hot fudge sauce! Well, it was her birthday!

Have a good day.

I can totally respect your sentiments on dead fruit. This one gets a reprieve in my book, though.

That is really exciting, I think. It is fun to do the tracking and develop new challenges. It will be interesting to determine your distance.

One thing I find so interesting is the consistency of my pace. I listen to different music, so that is not pacing me. But I am in the same time range day in and day out.

It was her birthday...and I heard it was delicious! Worth every bite I bet!
