It's been awhile since I've run down to Texas and then home, but that's exactly what I did today. I got a pretty late start but we didn't get too hot today, so that was fine.
My quads are just all torn up from the squats I've been doing so that made running very challenging. I suppose I should take a day of rest, maybe tomorrow. Maybe!

Sounds to me like you're pushing yourself pretty hard with this program. Are some rest days built into it?
Well, the 5x5 only needs to be 3 days a week. That doesn't actually mean every other day. I've just been kinda pushing myself too hard, I think. I think I'll do an easy little run today and gym tomorrow. I can't go to the gym on Tuesday or Wednesday.
