Back at it!

I ran today! And I was very excited and anxious to do so because I wanted to listen to my book! And I can't wait to run tomorrow to see what is going to happen. This has turned out to be a really good idea. It's fun. Today I ran 4 miles and then I did weights with the (less) stinky weights when I got back. At lunch I only ran two hills. It was just so darn hot!! Five miles tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have a better show with hills, too.

So do you just run until you come to the end of a chapter then? I would have to. Couldn't cut it off before the chapter ends. Might have to run farther than planned then. Where did you get the book? Is it on your ipod? Not sure how that all works.

Today I ran till the dang thing ran out of things to say! But I've just been stopping it when I'm done running. It's neat how it works on the iPod. If I listen to music, my audiobook still lets me "resume" where I stopped. So I don't have to try and forward to a location.

It is on my iPod. I joined audible.com for this book, but I don't think I'll stay joined. I really wanted this particular book but the audio version was 21 bucks! But audible.com gives you a free download when you join and another free book every month you're a member. So it was worth it for this book but I really think that I could plan better and use the library. Anyway, audible.com is part of Amazon and it is super easily integrated with iTunes. So I downloaded and it went directly into iTunes and then I just added it to my iPod like I would a playlist. If I get a CD from the library I suppose I would just import it into iTunes like a music CD.

This first part of the book took me through 24 miles I think. And I'm really excited about tomorrow to start part 2!

Thanks for the info. Not sure it's for me but then I've never tried it yet so how would I know?

I was pretty unsure! I'm glad I gave it a try. I can't wait for tomorrow. And I have an 18 mile run ahead of me. So.....yeah, it will help.

Tonight? Video games!!!
