I feel like I have three ways of sleeping. The first is to just pass out and sleep like a rock. The second is to feel like I did not sleep at all - even though I know I did. The third is to feel like I did not sleep at all - and to know that I really did not sleep at all!
Well, Monday night was the first kind - I slept long and slept hard. Last night I for real did not sleep at all. Based on that, I turned my coffee pot timer off at 4 AM and let myself sleep in this morning. So I did not jog in the AM.
Then, at lunch, I was half way down the stairs and I realized it was so hot that it was actually foolish to exercise. It was just that hot.
But after work I did get some good exercise! I officially took over my garden plot today, and it is a mess! Weeds like I can't believe. So I worked on that for a while. I suppose it will take some time to get the plot ready. But it is fun!

Hey, glad you are finally getting the garden plot. That's going to be a great thing for you I think. You'll really enjoy it. What are you gong to plant first now?
I'm not sleeping well this week either. Waking up at 5 or 5:30 for no reason and just laying there until 6:15. Don't like it.
Having a non member funeral this afternoon and finishing Sunday's sermon this morning. Hoping and planning to have tomorrow off. No weddings!
Only 30 here when we got up this morning! Doesn't look like we got frost though so now wondering if my thermometers are any good.
So, the Homecoming Queen lives another day. Was hoping she would blow it last night but she didn't. A little too folksy for me. I still don't think that being able to fix breakfast for 6 qualifies you to be VP.
Have a good day.
I wonder if our sleep (or lack thereof) is related to the moon and its phase. Although I will admit that I blame the moon a lot!
Glad you get a day off! I hope you will, anyway. I am excited to not go into the office for a couple of days, that's for sure.
We finally cooled down today after being in the 90 (upper!) for several days. It was brutal. We don't have air conditioning at work. I was just glad that we actually had water today!
My garden plot will have cool weather crops. Peas, beets, carrots, radishes, squash (not summer variety, obviously). Things like that. I don't have a lot of fruit options, but that's ok.
Yep, she survived. Which is waaay more then I thought she would do!
