A Report from Out West

Boy has it been a long time since I've done anything exercise related.  But, today, I finally got outside and went for a walk.  I walked 3 miles.  Not sure of my pace, but I was not trying to break any land speed records.  I just wanted to be outside for a bit.

Really nice evening and I'm grateful for my pretty lake that is so close by.  Now that I'm officially on the mend, we are going to be getting some weather!  Which is fine because I can just pop over to the gym.  On Monday (early morning - I think midnight to 5 am or some such) we are going to have "dangerously high" winds.  I'll be staying inside!

Happy to hear you got out for a walk! Does that lake every freeze over I wonder.

I don't think it truly freezes over. The edges are frozen, though. Well, more than just the edges. But the middle is not frozen at all and I don't think it will be. And it's still being aerated. And I don't think it ever gets thick enough for anything other than a goose to confidently go for a walk on the ice!
