I drove over to Texas today and did the same as I did yesterday. And my time was exactly the same! To the second! Went well.
Then I lifted weights.
Speaking of weight....I'm still struggling over here. Hopefully I'll remember this frustration when I start approaching my next "brownie phase". I'll really start thinking of a strategy next fall, because this same thing has happened the past two winters. With any luck, having a less stressful job will help.

I'm so disgusted about my weight, too. I put on a pound just thinking about a snack. Very frustrating.
You know, I've actually been going to bed earlier. Because my bad food decisions tend to happen at night when I am tired. In fact, I think that going to bed around 10 is the only reason I didn't gain weight at your house. You have so many snacking options!
Recently I've been reading that studies say willpower is a finite resource. So, after a period of time, it's used up and we give in. For me, that is at night when I'm tired!
